EventSage emails the owner the details when a new lead fills in your public form, a client sends back a form, a client places an order on an order page, or crew file a post-event report. The email lists what they wrote or ordered, so you can read it before you open the event. The owner's emails are on from the start. Team members start with them off.
What arrives
- A new lead.
- The answers from your public form, with the message under them. A booking made through a scheduler sends nothing.
- A client's form.
- The answers on a form you gave the client.
- An order.
- The email lists the order page, who placed it, the event details, the delivery address, their notes, the total and each ordered line with its quantity. The bell rings too. Nothing is booked until you confirm the order from the event. The total is the stored figure, so it can be higher than the one the client saw if you add a standing service charge or use Stripe Tax.
- A crew report.
- What a crew member wrote in a tip-out, incident or breakage report, with a link to your Reports page. An edit to a sent report notifies you again. The person who filed it hears nothing.
Answers show as label and value rows, with blanks skipped. A file, image or signature reads "Attached, open the event to see it". Long answers are cut at 2,000 characters. The bell and push never carry the answers.
Turn it on or off for yourself
- Open My notifications. It's under Settings, then Account.
- Find the row. They are A new inquiry comes in through a form, A client fills in a form you sent, A client places an order on an order page and Crew send a post-event report.
- Use the Bell, Email and Push switches on that row. Each change saves as you make it.
Everyone sets their own. Changing yours changes nobody else's.
Turn it on for a team member
A team member opens My notifications while signed in as themselves and turns on Email for the rows they want. You cannot switch it on for them. An order reaches seats that can read Orders. A crew report reaches seats that can read operational reports. Invite a teammate covers adding people.
Something look off?
Work through each check in order. Most fixes take under a minute.
You also use an automation
A new lead already rings your bell through the starter New inquiry automation, so the email adds a second channel. If you built your own automation that notifies you about the same lead, form, order or report, you get two heads-ups. Switch off Email on the row, or remove the notify step from the automation. Build a workflow shows how to edit one.
Nothing arrives
- 1 · Check Email is on for that row in My notifications.
- 2 · Look in your spam folder. The email goes to your account address.
- 3 · Past 30 leads an hour from your public form, or 30 orders an hour from public order pages, the email is skipped for that hour. The lead or order still saves.
