Guide to forms

A tour of your forms, from the lead form that fills your pipeline to the proposal that goes out when someone submits it.

The short version

A lead form is how a stranger becomes a lead without you typing anything. They fill it in, and a contact and a lead appear under Leads.

Forms is under Settings, then Documents. It groups your forms by kind. Lead capture is the inquiry form people fill in to ask about an event. Questionnaire is a longer set of questions you send a client, such as a timeline or a guest list. Contract is a form that can carry a client's initials and signature. Post-event report is your own template for what staff fill in after an event.

The Forms page grouped into four columns, Lead capture, Questionnaire, Contract and Post-event report.
01

Build your lead form

Start with the lead form. It needs an email question and a name question, a handful of others, and a switch set to Active. Set up your lead form walks through it.

02

Change what people see

The page a lead sees carries your header, your thank-you message, your theme and, if you choose, your logo. A client never sees the form's internal name. Change what people see on your form's page covers each setting.

03

Reply with a proposal

A form can pick a proposal template for each lead and send it the moment someone submits. Not every lead gets one, because some wait as a draft for you to check. Auto-send reaches a real person, so read Send new leads a proposal automatically before you switch it on.

04

Put the form on your website

Paste the form into a page on your own site, or share its link. Put your lead form on your website has the snippet.
