Turn on Hide from guests for a bundle your clients should not read by name, like a garnish set or an electrical kit. Its name, and the items only it brings, leave the quotes, proposals, invoices and order pages built from then on. No price, tax or total changes.
Steps
- Open Bundles, under Settings then Libraries.
- Click the row of the bundle you want to hide.
- Open the Presentation section.
- Turn on Hide from guests. On an existing bundle it saves as you type. On a new bundle, click Save bundle.
- Click Done.
The bundle stays in your lists.
What your clients see
- Inside another bundle.
- The hidden bundle's name leaves the contents list, along with the items only it brings. An item the bundle around it holds itself stays listed.
- On its own line with a price.
- The line stays. Hiding removes a name and never a dollar, so a bundle that bills money still shows.
- On its own line at $0.
- The Included line leaves, with the equipment, services and staff roles only that bundle brings.
An order page works the same way. A hidden bundle inside a bundle card is left out of the card's list.
What stays the same
Hiding is display only. Totals, taxes, invoice lines and Stripe charges come out exactly as they did. You still see the bundle in the calculator's list of bundles, Bundles, prep and packing lists, inventory, tasks, reports and the crew app.
A quote you print, or build into a proposal that has not gone out, leaves hidden bundles out too. A signed event prints as signed.
What a client already has stays as sent
Anything you already sent keeps the words it was sent with, even if you hide the bundle later. That covers quotes, proposals, share links and invoices. To take the name off a quote or proposal a client holds, send it again. Sending it rebuilds it. An invoice you already sent keeps its words.
Something look off?
Work through each check in order. Most fixes take under a minute.
