Every quote turns your costs into a price, and every invoice has to be payable. These settings do both. When you finish, your prices carry the markups you chose, clients read your fees the way you want, and they have a way to pay.
Set your markups
The contingency buffer goes on your cost first, and each markup goes on top of that. You set them on Pricing structure, under Settings, then Pricing. By default only the account owner can change them. Set your markups and contingency buffer has the steps. How markup, margin and the buffer set a price shows why a 20% markup reads as a 16.7% margin.
Add your overhead
Rent, insurance and licenses cost you money between events. EventSage turns each yearly cost into a share of every event, and your markups apply to that share like any other cost. Add your rent and other overhead shows how.
Choose what clients see
Your core fee is mileage, overhead and prep. It can show as its own line on a quote, or fold into your bundle prices. Price rounding is a separate choice, and it always rounds up, so it raises what a client pays. Choose how quotes show fees and round prices covers both.
Connect Stripe
Connect Stripe sets up a Stripe account for your business. Card payments from your invoices land in it, and Stripe pays them out to your bank. You do this on Stripe payments, under Settings, then Connections. Connect Stripe to take card payments covers the setup and what card payments cost.
Choose how clients pay you
A quote, proposal or invoice does not go out until clients have a way to pay. That can be a card through Stripe, or a check, a bank transfer, cash or an app like Venmo with your details filled in. Choose how clients can pay you also covers who pays the card fees.
